Rule of Caveat emptor: “let the buyer beware”.

It is a rule that a purchaser is required to ask questions about important matters if necessary. The seller is not expected to provide information which may put the buyer off.

It means that the buyer must inspect the goods and rely on their own judgment before making a purchase. If the buyer has the opportunity to inspect the goods and forms their own judgment, they cannot later complain if the goods turn out to be different from what they expected.
